^^^ There are too many things to even know where to start. I probably use Pantone's Guide to Communicating with Color more often than any other design resource book. Instead of being a house with a ridiculously loud wallpaper in the kitchen, it becomes a home of “distinction, with splendid, striking color”. This slim book is based on Josef Albers' famous color theory class taught at Yale University. Pantone's Guide to Communicating with Color. The first design I came across that made my skin crawl was this one. It's the first book I refer to when starting a new project if I'm the one to determine the color palette.
